There is nothing complex in grade system. Only confusing thing is that it was changed few times in the past so people can get confused of what is actual state of the system.
Main idea stays same. To get higher clan grade, you need earn national points (NP), which are obtainable in PvP zones by killing enemies.
The higher grade your clan is, the more possibilities it has but in comparison to past, everything is easier to get and more available.
Each clan can has maximum 50 members and 3 alliances (more about alliances in below sections)
After clan is created (it costs 500k coins), it gets "Knight grade 5". As clan members are earning NP, clan gets higher grade. However, it is not permament - so if members leave, clan can lose grade.
In following table, you can easily see, how much NP clan needs (SUM of NP of all clan members) to get higher grade.
Nation Points (NP) | Grade |
72'000 | Grade 4 |
144'000 | Grade 3 |
360'000 | Grade 2 |
720'000 | Grade 1 |
As soon as clan gets grade 3, clan leader will get possibility to activate quest "Kill Caitharos" (I do not remember the name). Nowadays it is not needed to have much people to be able to complete the quest, but you need at least one priest and one attacker (depends on equip and levels).
To complete this quest you need this heart. As soon as clan leader completes quest, clan gets short gray cape and possibility to upload clan logo (more about clan logo in below section).
Clan logo will appear in front of name of every clan member and also on the clan capes.
Color of clan capes can be changed in Luferson/El Morad Castles at [Cape Merchant] Habice (Luferson 393, 1735) / [Cape Merchant] Sarvic (El Morad castle at 1653, 329) but this change costs money so think carefully about what color you would like to have.
You can choose only from short capes in colors: black, blue, red, purple, green, yellow, dark blue, orange, light green. Prices start at 20m coins but can grow up to 160m coins.
As soon as clan gets grade 1, clan leader will be able to start second clan quest - "Kill Isiloon" (Again, I do not remember quest name). Note, that this quest Isiloon is weaker than normal one
To complete this quest, you need more people to kill it (I recommend have around 2 parties - and as many drainers as possible).
There is again rule, that only clan leader can loot the drop (Emblem of Honor ) and all people online are teleported into arena with Isiloon. But if your clan is not strong enough, emblem is tradable, so you can buy it from other players.
To complete quest you need that Emblem and 10m coins and after completion, clan gets status as Accredited clan.
If the clan is Accredited, it gets special option to change cape color on the color pallete. Note that color you choose on pallete is mixed with base color, so with different base capes, you will be able to get a bit different results. Color change on the pallete cost 1'000 CP (36'000 donated NP). Second new option which are available for Accredited and higher clans is buy Long capes.
Long cape doesn't cost money but donated NP. Price is 36'000 NP for normal long capes (long capes with pure color). Clan can also buy special long capes with some images on it, but it costs much more NP - starts at 180'000 but can grow up to 864'000 NP.
In this case, system works a bit differently from previous "Knight grade system". To increase grade, members need donate their national points to the clan. Donated NP will be transformed into clan points (CP) which are used as currency. 1 CP = 36 NP - this number comes from past when 36 was maximum amount of members in clan.
This system is to make members to be more loyal. If any member leaves clan or is kicked from the clan, he get back only 30% on NP! Rest 70% is completely (and irreversibly) deleted. There is only one way to avoid that and get back 100% of NP when leaving a clan - buy "Clan Contribution" scroll which is available in Power Up Store!
As mentioned earlier, CP are used as currency and in following table, you can see prices of each grade.
Nation Points (NP) | Clan Points (CP) | Grade |
252'000 | 7'000 | Grade 4 |
360'000 | 10'000 | Grade 3 |
540'000 | 15'000 | Grade 2 |
720'000 | 20'000 | Grade 1 |
As you can see, to get Accredited grade 1, you need 52'000 CP, which is 1'872'000 NP donated in the clan.
Clan grades for Accredited clans are purchased with donated NP and so it is not automatically. Leader or assistants of clan have to increase it manually at [Knight Clerk] NPC.
As soon as clan gets Accredited grade 1, clan leader will be able to start third and last one clan quest - "Kill Felankor" (Again, I do not remember quest name). Note, that this quest Felankor is weaker than normal one
There is again rule, that only clan leader can loot the drop (Royal Emblem ) and all people online are teleported into arena with Felankor. But if your clan is not strong enough, emblem is tradable, so you can buy it from other players.
After quest completion and paying 100m, clan gets status as Royal clan.
Increasing of Royal clan grades work same as in case of Accredited clans. In the following table, you can see prices of each grade.
Nation Points (NP) | Clan Points (CP) | Grade |
900'000 | 25'000 | Grade 5 |
1'080'000 | 30'000 | Grade 4 |
1'260'000 | 35'000 | Grade 3 |
1'440'000 | 40'000 | Grade 2 |
1'620'000 | 45'000 | Grade 1 |
As you can see in the table, even Royal grade 5 has its price. It means, that even after completion of quest, you need pay 25'000 CP to get that grade.
To get Royal grade 1, you need 175'000 CP which is 6'300'000 NP donated in the clan.
Royal clan will get another bulk of capes for purchase. Capes are again long and costs again donated NP. Price for capes with pure color (but this time they are a bit "wavy"! Accredited capes are more like a board) is 360'000 NP. There are also capes with images on it - price starts at 1'080'000 NP but can grow up to 2'880'000 NP.
Royal clans can also buy special capes which looks completely differently (visit Cape merchant to see them) - their price is 300m coins and 150'000 NP and they expire after 1 month.
If you have image satisfying such requirements, copy it into "symbol_us" folder which is located on place where the game files are located (game is installed).
Image has to be named as symbol (so symbol.tga or symbol.bmp) - there is default file named as this, so just replace it.
After this is done, visit [Cape Merchant] NPC - if you made everything correct, you will see your symbol in preview window. Register of clan logo costs 5m coins.
Clan grades for Royal clans are purchased with donated NP and so it is not automatically. Leader or assistants of clan have to increase it manually at [Knight Clerk] NPC.
Each clan with "Knight grade 3" and higher can offer alliance to others. All clans without exception can accept alliance offers.
Alliance has to meet following rules:
Members of TOP 3 clans on each side will have shining bracelets.
TOP 5 clans will have their logo on flags in their main cities (Luferson Castle for Karus and El Morad Castle for El Morad) and in Moradon.
